Relationship is a two way commitment between partners. In a relationship, there are many trials and challenges to face. One of it is some misunderstandings. The most important thing to do is to hold on and be patient. Do not let your pride over power you. There are so many ways that can make a relationship work good. I've been through this.

I have recently posted my thoughts about this here: <a href="http://373-tips.net/savemymarriage/saving-your-marriage-before-it-starts-failing-working-together-to-make-it-last/" rel="nofollow">saving your marriage before it starts failing</a>

Thanks,
Jessica

Excellent info you have shared. It's greatly appreciated. I wanted to let you know about a couple of resources that have recently been shared with me & I think you may want to check out and share with your readers. The first is a simulcast coming up Nov. 6 called Love & War – Finding the Marriage You Dreamed Of. John & Stasi Eldrege are Christian authors of the book by the same name & have worked in counseling for years. They identify the top three things that would most help Christian marriages, gleaned from the hard work they did to recover their own marriage. Check out incastevents.com for more info – incredible opportunity for couples & churches interested in saving marriages in today’s world. Another useful resource that was shared with me is zoescore.com which is a program that consists of Marriage Research, Awareness, Feedback Materials, & an Efficient Process. Zoe helps you see your relationship more clearly so that you are aware of issues earlier and can resolve them sooner in your relationship. Thanks again for your posts as so many of us are facing trouble in our marriages today. I believe both of these resources are are DEFINITELY worth taking the time to check out.

In his book David Instone-Brewer takes a pretty liberal view of divorce and remarriage.

Leslie McFall has an interesting way to deal with the so-called exception clause in Matthew 19:9 that some hold allows for divorce and remarriage in the case of marriage unfaithfulness.

He has written a 43 page paper that reviews the changes in the Greek made by Erasmus that effect the way Matthew 19:9 has been translated. I reviewed McFall's paper at <a href="http://morechristlike.com/except-for- fornication-clause-of-matthew-19-9/" rel="nofollow">Except For Fornication Clause of Matthew 19:9</a>. I would love to hear some feedback on this position.

I also have list of good conservative articles on the subject of <a href="http://morechristlike.com/divorce-and-remarriage/" rel="nofollow">Divorce and Remarriage</a>.

The temporary sex relationships provide some thrill for the moment, but they do not provide real connection and intimacy and leaves us empty, wasted and hollow. Building a marriage, though harder, provides the human connection that leads to completeness, fulfillment and meaning.

And, of course, to build a marriage, there are some things you must learn not to say. Glad you enjoyed the video on my blog.

Good points. Definitely agree that as marriages deepen, they reach upward. Well put.
